DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I do not accept insurance. I am also considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. I can generate a statement that you will be able to submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
I recommend that you contact your insurance company prior to our first session to inquire about the out-of-network specific to your plan.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
I accept either USD or JPY currencies. Sessions are $135 for 50 min or ¥15,000 for 50 min.
HOW DOES BILLING WORK?
If you plan to pay in USD, you will be able to pay via my Simple Practice client portal with major credit cards. If you plan to pay in JPY, I will be sending you an invoice via Paypal after our session is over which accepts major credit cards. Payment is typically collected after the session is over. However, I do have a 7-day grace period if you are unable to make a payment that day and you will have up to one week to pay your balance in full.
WHAT IS YOUR RECOMMENDATION ON HOW MANY SESSIONS I SHOULD DO?
This will be totally up to you! However, I recommend clients to start therapy by meeting weekly at first to build rapport and learn the necessary tools in order to gradually meet to bi-weekly sessions, then eventually monthly. We can establish a therapy schedule that works for you in our consultation or first session!
DO YOU OFFER A DISCOUNTED RATE?
Yes! If you are currently a student in college or graduate school, sessions will be $90 for 50 min or ¥10,000 for 50 min. There are limited spots available, please send me proof of enrollment or your class schedule to qualify!
